Applications are now ongoing for the 2024 David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship for African students who wish to pursue their Undergraduate studies at Covenant University or Landmark University in Nigeria. 

The David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship offers an excellent opportunity for African youth to pursue their academic aspirations and become future leaders in their communities and nations.

Scholarship Benefits:

• Full academic fees coverage for up to 5 years (In accordance with the University’s stipulated time for the duration of the chosen course)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Citizenship and permanent residency in any African nation.
• Age requirement: between 16 and 25 at the time of application.
• Eligibility for a Nigerian student visa.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Exceptional secondary school performance:
  • At least 250 points and above in JAMB UTME (Nigerians only).
  • 80% recorded average or 4.0GPA/5.0 in Secondary/High School Transcript
  • Already have begun admission applications to Covenant or Landmark University

NOTE: THE APPLICATION FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP DOES NOT GUARANTEE ADMISSIONTO THE SPECIFIED UNIVERSITIES; ALL ADMISSION TO THE UNIVERSITY IS TO BE SECUREDINDEPENDENTLY BY GOING THROUGH THE UNIVERSITY’S ADMISSION PROCESS. HENCE,THE AWARD OF THE SCHOLARSHIP IS CONDITIONED ON UNIVERSITY ADMISSION.

Applicants not meeting the above technical eligibility requirements will not be forwarded to the selection committee.

Required Documents:

• Completed Application Form.
• Secondary School Transcripts.
• WAEC Result.
• Letter of Recommendation (Academic).
• Letter of Recommendation (Religion).
• Four essays (500 words each) addressing various topics, including the need for the scholarship, reasons for pursuing the chosen course, leadership experience, and patriotism.
