LEARN AFRICA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2024 | FULLY FUNDED: APPLY NOW.

Written by:

Once again, the highly anticipated Learn Africa postgraduate scholarship program, a flagship initiative of the Women for Africa Foundation, is back for another year. With a history spanning over a decade, the program has supported an impressive 350 female students from 35 diverse African countries. Many of these students have successfully completed their studies in Spain or Morocco and have either entered their home country’s job market or pursued further studies at the doctoral level.

In this latest round of applications, the Women for Africa Foundation is demonstrating a firm commitment to doctoral scholarships, marking the year with the highest number of doctoral awards offered. Furthermore, the Foundation continues its emphasis on promoting academic programs in STEM fields, introducing innovative topics such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, food safety, and sustainable construction.

In this edition, a total of 76 new scholarships and 22 renewal scholarships are available, made possible through the dedicated support of over 50 program collaborators, including universities, business schools, and private sponsors such as GMV, ASISA Foundation, and ANESVAD Foundation.

Undoubtedly, the program’s success is not only evident in the quantity and diversity of scholarships offered or the transformative impact of the Learn Africa experience on its recipients but also in the expanding network of partners involved in the initiative, which continues to grow each year. Thus, in this new call for applications, Learn Africa welcomes the University of Almeria (UAL) and the ENAE Business School (Murcia) for the first time, both institutions demonstrating their commitment with two scholarships each as they embark on their journey with the program.
